 1964 Our first plant was built at the vicinity of Hsinchu city with the area of 2 hectares. In the early period, we devoted ourselves mainly in the research of manufacturing technology. A few years later, we were successful in synthesizing technical grade of Zineb, PMA, and Neo-isozin. Not before long, the synthesis of these products became our regular production task.
1970s Further development in the realm of synthesizing organic phosphorus insecticides such as Mevinphos was accomplished. In the meantime, we were honored to represent the well-known foreign companies like Novartis, Rhone-Poulence etc. From them we imported the finished products and technical materials as well for repacking and formulation at the plant prior to the distribution. During 1970s, our development in the synthesis went one step further by collaborating with SNPE company in a series of research on the synthesis of carbamate insecticides such as MIPC, BPMC, and t-BPME.
synthesis of carbamate fungicide, Carbendazim became the first product among the group of carbamate fungicides being successfully manufactured in our regular production line and was followed by Benomyl and Thiophanate-Methyl a few years later. In 1985, due to the limited availability of area in Hsinchu plant for expansion, it was made necessary for us to relocate our plant at Kuanin in Taoyuan County with the area of 10 hectares. The new plant is not only installed with facilities for synthesizing technical grade material but also equipped with all necessary facilities for formulating all types of products. Even now, the factory is still the newest and the largest in area wise of all agricultural chemical factories in Taiwan. There for, we further had an opportunity to direct our research effort toward synthesis of Herbicides and Biocide. The products came up on the scene and their actual production realized were Glyphosate and Steinernema spp(nematode).
2000s We got the Chinese trademark(億力) and user’s rights of Benomyl products from DuPont, and got proxy sale for Benomyl 50% WP produced from DuPont Plant. Furthermore, we improve our factory’s facilities and working environment, so that we can obtain more OEM . At the same time, we also try to expand our sales from pesticide business to fertilizer and environmental medication. |
